Stage 1 · The occasion
Who it is for, and how many.
Four things, all with the full allergen list provided before you order.
Tell us the occasion, the number of people and what you want to spend, and we will design to that rather than quoting a catalogue picture. We are also honest that elaborate sugar work costs hours rather than ingredients, so the price reflects time more than size.
Who it is for, and how many.
To your budget, honestly costed.
Full list given before you commit.
Timed, with supports pointed out.
Before any decision is made.
With the deposit schedule stated.
Delivery, setup and heat considered.
Delivered and set up, not left at a door.
Tasting comes first, because choosing a flavour from a photograph is how people end up with a cake they do not like. Quotation is written, deposits are non-refundable on a stated schedule, and we plan delivery around the venue — summer marquees and buttercream are a known problem we will warn you about.
Easier to serve than a cake when nobody wants to cut and plate forty slices. Boxed so they travel, labelled with ingredients, and priced per unit so you can scale the order up or down once you know your numbers.
Roughly, then confirmed.
A mix, or all the same.
Ingredients with allergens emphasised.
To travel without damage.
Confirmed as early as possible.
What covers your numbers.
With a deposit.
Told early if we are full.
Seasonal weeks book out early and then we are turning people away, which nobody enjoys. If you know you will want something for a particular date, say so weeks ahead — we would rather hold a slot than disappoint you.
